It is part of a commitment by World Squash to promote sustainable practices at its championships and actively contribute to global environmental priorities.
SPORTS FOR NATURE
As a partner in the global Sports for Nature framework, World Squash is inspiring greater awareness and action for nature. This includes engaging the squash community in avoiding damage to natural habitats and species, and in protecting and restoring nature.

KAARAKIN
BLACK COCKATOO CONSERVATION CENTRE
Black cockatoos are among the most unique wildlife in the Perth Hills. Nestled within Banyowla Regional Park, Kaarakin is a specialist wildlife centre dedicated to rescuing injured and displaced black cockatoos and rehabilitating them for release back into their natural habitat. Through expert care and conservation-focused programs, Kaarakin plays a vital role in protecting these remarkable birds for future generations.

Beyond rescue, rehabilitation and release, Kaarakin offers unique opportunities to connect with some of its permanent residents. Guided encounters with black cockatoos or dingoes provide a rare chance to learn more about these extraordinary Australian animals, their behaviour, and the conservation challenges they face.
The centre regularly hosts guided tours (with updates available on their Facebook page), or you can arrange a private group tour.
